Terms of use
These terms apply when you use this website. By using it, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it. They do not form a security-services agreement.
Two parts matter most: "Not for emergencies", just below, and "Limits on our liability".
Not for emergencies
Do not use this website for emergency instructions. In an emergency, use the phone number or contact channel agreed for your service. If you have no agreement with us, contact the police or your local emergency services.
Who we are
This website is run by World Risk Global.

What this website is for
We use this website to explain our services and share general guidance. Nothing on it appoints us as your security provider, promises coverage or replaces a full risk assessment. You cannot buy services or pay on this website.
Contacting us
You can email us from any page. Contacting us does not create a booking, an appointment or a contract.
Your service agreement
Work starts only under a written quote or contract. The quote or contract must list the work, area, teams, response times, insurance and duties. If anything on this website differs from your quote or contract, the quote or contract applies.
Records on request
We give our PSIRA registration details, and the records your service needs, on request. Nothing on this website is public proof of a registration, licence, certificate, partner or available service.
Risk figures
The risk figures on our home page come from published sources, which we name and link beside each one. The Africa and United States counters are modelled indicators, not live feeds. The Africa figure applies UNCTAD's historical annual estimate, based on the 2013-2015 average, to the share of the current year that has passed. The United States figure applies US$25bn, the midpoint of a published annual range of US$15bn to US$35bn reported by the National Insurance Crime Bureau, in the same way. The South African figure, 1,589 truck hijackings recorded by SAPS for 2024/25, is an exact published total. These figures describe wider risk. They do not describe your operation.
Guides
Our guides give general advice. They are not legal advice, a live threat assessment or a full security review for your business.
Using this website properly
You may not use this website to break the law, to post illegal content, to try to get into our systems without permission, to upload harmful code, to send spam or false enquiries, to pretend to be someone else, or to interfere with how the website works.
Do not send us private security details, such as routes, schedules or access codes, through this website.
Search engines may read and index this website, in line with our robots.txt file.
Our content and name
The text, pictures, logo and design on this website are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view, print and share pages for your own use, and link to any page. You may not copy our pictures, logo, design or large parts of our text for commercial use without our written permission.
Links to other websites
This website links to other websites, such as the public sources behind our risk figures. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their availability or how they handle your information. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
Updates and availability
We may update service information when our services, coverage or working conditions change. We aim to keep this website available, but it may be unavailable during maintenance or network problems, and we do not promise that it will be free of errors. We may change, pause or remove any part of it at any time.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using this website, from not being able to use it, or from relying on the general information on it. This does not apply to loss caused by our gross negligence or by something we did on purpose.
This section is about the website only. Our responsibility for any service is set by your quote or contract with us and by the law.
Nothing in these terms limits or removes any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, or any responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.
Your privacy
Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal information, including the cookies on this website. Our PAIA manual explains how to request access to records we hold.
Law that applies
South African law applies to these terms and to your use of this website. Any dispute about them will be heard by a South African court that has jurisdiction. If you live in Europe or the UK, you keep any rights that the law where you live gives you and does not allow a contract to remove. Nothing in these terms stops you from using the complaint routes the Consumer Protection Act gives you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top. The version on this page when you use the website is the one that applies.
